A New Era of Equine Rehabilitation and Performance

What is INDIBA?

INDIBA Radiofrequency is a therapeutic device that utilises the well-studied 448 kHz frequency, scientifically proven to have significant positive biological outcomes.

It is the gold standard device on the equine market to both rehabilitate and improve performance of the equine athlete.

INDIBA is used to treat pain, improve healing  and for injury prevention. INDIBA can reach deep into tissues to target the deepest structures including the sacroiliac (SI) joint. Whilst also enhancing performance through managing muscle pain and tension, promoting suppleness and relaxation.

Key Benefits

How Does INDIBA Work?

448 kHz Frequency

INDIBA utilises the 448 kHz frequency to elicit biological effects on the body. This is a sub-thermal effect and therefore can be used in the early stages of healing.

As the current passes through the body, the energy provided causes bio-stimulation to increase:

- Tissue Regeneration

- Pain Relief

Thermal Effects

INDIBA can combine the 448 kHz frequency with thermal effects for an enhanced effect.

This means INDIBA can be used at all stages of repair, from acute to chronic conditions to enhance healing.

- Increased Circulation for Oxygenation and Waste Removal

- Increased Relaxation

- Increased Elasticity of Tissues

Closed Circuit

Unlike many therapeutic devices on the market, INDIBA works as a closed circuit system to penetrate deep within the body.

The current passes from the electrode to a fixed return plate on their sternum to create a closed circuit. This allows the electromagnectic current to penetrate into tissues, targeting the structures beneath.

It can reach deep structures such as:

- Sacroiliac Joint (SI)

- Coffin Joint

- Navicular

How does INDIBA differ from other therapies on the market?

  • Penetrates deeper - the closed circuit application allows for the deepest penetration, reaching structures of great depth.

  • Any stage of repair - INDIBA can opperate on a non-thermal and a deep heating setting, allowing use on acute, sub-acute and chronic conditions

  • Post Surgery - INDIBA can be used immediately post-surgery with stitches or metal implants. This is due to the closed circuit design; the application can be further away from the return plate and travel trough the surgical site without touching it.

  • Combined with other therapies - INDIBA can work in synergy with treatments such as platelet rich plasma (PRP) or stem cell therapy, to enhance the effects of both.

  • Portable device - INDIBA can be applied in their stables, no need to travel. Particularly useful for those at early stages of healing and box rest to reduce any detrimental effects of travel

  • Enjoyable and pain-free treatment - no need for sedation and the horses love it
